Industrial Decarbonization and Energy Efficiency Knowledge Sharing Platform (iDEEKSHA)is a joint project of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency(BEE), UK Government's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) under the ASPiRE Programme: Accelerating Smart Power and Renewable Energy. The purpose of this Knowledge Sharing Platform (KSP) is to promote Energy Efficiency (EE) measures among industries through sharing of best practices, sectoral learnings and EE technologies adopted by other industries.


Our Vision

The Knowledge Sharing Platform (KSP) would facilitate

  • Exchange of knowledge and information to enhance peer to peer learning.
  • Exchange of energy management best practices across sectors
  • Facilitate access to tools, technologies, and technology providers in India and globally
  • Provide links to data sources and knowledge repositories to support knowledge translation
  • Organize sector/ industry specific workshops/ seminars/ webinars to enhance EE measures
  • Enable knowledge and commercial partnerships.


 KSP Activities

The KSP has been anchored at BEE to carry out the day-to-day operations activities. The key activities performed by the platform are:

  1. KEP secretariat is established at Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), the Secretariat facilitates timely release of KEP Publications, plan and organize sector activities for knowledge exchange among the industrial sectors through sectoral workshops, friendly energy efficiency exchange visits.
  2. KEP also works in collaboration, partnerships, and networking within and across Industry Associations for transfer of best practices.
  3. Support Training and Capacity Building by using the existing Centers of Excellence and creating a pool of resources
